Silvana LoFria studied Textile Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where She has earned both her bfa & AAS in Textile surface Design.
She also has a minor in Art History.
As of September 2020 Silvana
became a top-seller and earned a verified "blue checkmark" status on the trendy clothing resale app, Depop.
During her junior year at FIT , Silvana was a designer selling her ARTBYSILVANA collection at FIT's student-run boutique,
"The Style Shop."
For the entirety of her time spent pursuing her AAS , she was the president of the Textile and Surface Design Club at FIT.
from aug 2018 to April 2021,
She interned at Richloom Fabrics Group in Manhattan.
As a college freshman, she interned at Oscar de la Renta, in the Fabric and Trim Buying/Production department.
She has previously taken fashion design pre-college classes at FIT in fall 2016.
She attended Hauppauge High School and graduated in 2017.
She was the Treasurer and
member of National Art Honor Society during her senior year of High School.
She also has history taking sewing classes at Sew Fun in Northport, NY.
